“THIS IS MY LIFE WORK: HELPING PEOPLE UNDERSTAND AND RESPOND TO THIS MESSAGE.”
About Me: Teacher, Writer, Speaker
My name is Georgina and I am so grateful you are here with me. I want to share some of my experiences and life stories as I journey, just like you, through this exhilarating voyage called life.
My purpose is to help people understand and respond to God’s Message.
The art of communication is a gift from God.
I love words! Words have the power to connect us. Our life stories intertwine creating a beautiful tapestry of pain and joy and all the other in-between experiences. All of which brings me awe and wonder, especially the resilience and intricacy of the human soul. I have experienced what the Greeks call “sophrosyne”, and I am passionate to tell people how I found what I know!
Becoming fully alive and finding our voice is what this website is all about! Recovering my identity has enabled me to have a consciousness of who I am and who God is. Through my blog, I hope to equip people with the spiritual tools to understand and fulfill their God-given purpose and design. I believe that true success in life comes from knowing our identity in Jesus.
For the past 3 years, I have been serving God as the women’s ministry leader for Celebrate Recovery at my home church East Gate in Albuquerque, New Mexico where I am also a pastor and preacher of the word of God. I am so excited to announce that I am also officially writing my very first book!
It is a story about reclaiming identity, finding freedom, and true love.
I can’t wait for you to read it! In the meantime, you can find inspiration and encouragement through my blog, “Chronicles Under the Fig Tree”.
